On waters that don’t seem to move.
Not a wave, not a ripple.
You hold your breath and close your eyes,
You wake up to find you haven’t moved.
Not an inch, definitely not by a mile.
It is in still waters that you learn,
What you’re truly capable of.
To grow, to get stronger and to surrender.
It is when you’re stranded that you will know,
You have no control over life.
